Here you will find a subset of my work related to user interface design. Even though user experience architecture is really what I love doing, my experience spans several related fields. Below is only a small subset of what I have achieved, since much of my work is protected by confidentiality agreements.

Does it make my life easier? Is is intuitive? Do I enjoy using it? Can I use it from here? Is it always there when I need it? Do I trust it?

I'm very passionate about what I do professionally, which is User eXperience Architecture (UXA). This is my favourite term, as it bases itself on a parallel between software and building construction. I am neither the Civil Engineer, nor the Interior Decorator. I am the Architect. Alternative titles are Interaction Designer, User Interface Designer/Engineer and Usability Professional. Many UXAs also work as Web Designers.

In my previous roles, UI design was only one of the many aspects of my job. I've designed websites, brochures, online adverts, print publication adverts, newsletters (both online and print), invitations, souvenir booklets, and many more things.

What excites me are new ideas and being able to choose the right information / functionality and present it the right way. My approach is, and has always been (even before I discovered this discipline) User-Centred.

You can get in touch using my Linked in profile where a summarised version of my experience can be found, but I'd much rather you read my CV or check out this infographic about my life and experience

Professional affiliations : I am a member of the IET (Institute of Engineering and Technology), the UPA (Usability Professional's Association), and BCS-HCI (British Computer Society's Human-Computer Interaction group). All of these organisations often hold educational lectures and networking events, thus encouraging the exchange of information and knowledge between like-minded professionals.
